Abstract

A method for disassembling an electrode assembly disclosed here includes: preparing an electrode assembly formed by stacking a strip-like first separator, negative electrode, second separator, and positive electrode in this order and winding the stack; pulling the first separator and the second separator, respectively, to unwind the electrode assembly into a laminated sheet of the first separator and the negative electrode and a laminated sheet of the second separator and the positive electrode; and winding the laminated sheet of the first separator and the negative electrode around a first roll to deflect a transport path of the first separator, inserting a plate-like separation member into a portion where the transport path is deflected, and separating the negative electrode from the first separator to a first surface side and a second surface side of the separation member.

Dependent claims

A method for disassembling an electrode assembly, the method comprising:

preparing an electrode assembly formed by stacking a strip-like first separator, a strip-like negative electrode, a strip-like second separator, and a strip-like positive electrode in this order and winding the stack in a predetermined winding direction;
separating the electrode assembly into a laminated sheet of the first separator and the negative electrode and a laminated sheet of the second separator and the positive electrode at a winding end portion of the electrode assembly, and pulling the first separator and the second separator, respectively, to unwind the electrode assembly while separating the electrode assembly into the laminated sheet of the first separator and the negative electrode and the laminated sheet of the second separator and the positive electrode;
and
winding the laminated sheet of the first separator and the negative electrode, or the laminated sheet of the second separator and the positive electrode, around a first roll to deflect a transport path of the first or second separator, inserting a plate-like separation member into a portion where the transport path is deflected, and separating the negative electrode or the positive electrode from the first or second separator to a first surface side and a second surface side of the separation member.

A device for disassembling an electrode assembly configured to disassemble an electrode assembly formed by stacking a strip-like first separator, a strip-like negative electrode, a strip-like second separator, and a strip-like positive electrode in this order and winding the stack in a predetermined winding direction, the negative electrode being adhered to the first separator, the positive electrode being adhered to the second separator, the device comprising:

a first gripping member configured to grip one of the first separator and the second separator;
a second gripping member configured to grip the other of the first separator and the second separator;
a first transport device configured to move the first gripping member along a predetermined first transport path;
a second transport device configured to move the second gripping member along a predetermined second transport path;
a first roll provided on the first transport path and configured to deflect the first transport path;
and
a separation member configured in a plate shape having a first surface and a second surface, disposed at a portion where the first transport path is deflected, and configured to separate the negative electrode or the positive electrode from the first or second separator to a side of the first surface and a side of the second surface.
