Abstract
The present invention relates to a specimen collector apparatus with dual collection matrices and methods of use. The present invention also relates to a specimen collector apparatus with dual collection matrices for specimen collection, drying, and transport, and methods of use. Dual swabs with dual collection matrices are arranged side by side and may be applied to a crime scene specimen to collect two samples of the specimen. The dual swab collection matrices are chosen based on test method compatibility needs so that each collected sample may be analyzed by a different testing method.
