Conductive forward osmosis membrane and preparation method thereof

A conductive forward osmosis membrane, comprising a support layer, an intermediate layer, and a selectively permeable skin layer, wherein the support layer is formed from a conductive porous substrate, and the intermediate layer is a conductive intermediate layer composed of a conductive material;

• wherein the conductive intermediate layer is a hydrophilic conductive material layer;
• wherein the conductive intermediate layer is composed of polypyrrole, and the skin layer is a polyamide layer with a thickness of 260 nm to 560 nm;
• wherein the conductive material of the conductive intermediate layer further comprises sodium dodecyl benzene sulfonate (SDBS);
• wherein polypyrrole is deposited onto the conductive porous substrate via electrochemical deposition of a pyrrole-containing electrochemical polymer;
• wherein the skin layer formed on the conductive intermediate layer exhibits a smooth, ridge-and-valley morphology;
• and the sheet resistance of the membrane ranges from 156.4 mΩ/sq to 300 mΩ/sq.
