Abstract
A porous membrane having a structure that is non-uniform in a thickness direction, the structure comprising a first surface that is less dense and a second surface that is more dense, wherein the porous membrane has a first trap layer (a trap layer for 20-nm gold colloids), the first trap layer is a layer that traps gold colloids having an average particle size of 20 nm at the time when the gold colloids having an average particle size of 20 nm are made to permeate through the porous membrane from the first surface toward the second surface, and the first trap layer has a thickness of 16.5 μm or more.

A porous membrane having a structure that is non-uniform in a thickness direction, the structure comprising a first surface that is less dense and a second surface that is more dense, wherein
- the porous membrane has a first trap layer (a trap layer for 20-nm gold colloids),
- the first trap layer is a layer that traps gold colloids having an average particle size of 20 nm at the time when the gold colloids having an average particle size of 20 nm are made to permeate through the porous membrane from the first surface toward the second surface, and
- the first trap layer has a thickness of 16.5 μm or more.
