Abstract
Provided are an amine compound represented by the following general formula (1), an amine composition comprising the amine compound, a carbon dioxide absorbent comprising the amine compound or the amine composition, a method for capturing carbon dioxide using the carbon dioxide absorbent, and a carbon dioxide separation and capture apparatus. In the formula (1), R1 represents a hydroxy group or an organic group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms. n1 to n4 each independently represent a number of 3 to 8, and m1 and m2 each independently represent a number of 1 or 2.

An amine compound represented by the following general formula (1):
- wherein in the formula (1), R1 represents a hydroxy group or an organic group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms;
- n1 to n4 each independently represent a number of 3 to 8;
- and m1 and m2 each independently represent a number of 1 or 2.
