Abstract

A game device includes a field on which a toy top moves while spinning, a display means being configured to display a first image on the field, a capturing means being configured to capture motion of the toy top present on the field, and a control means being configured to control the display means and the capturing means. The control means is configured to detect a motion state of the top toy including a current position, a movement state, and a rotation state of the toy top, based on information from the capturing means. The first image includes a second image. The control means is configured to display the first image on the field corresponding to the motion of the toy top and to modify the first image according to the motion state. The control means is configured to display the second image indicating a current position of the toy top on the field.
