Abstract
A cornhole gameboard providing an interchangeable faceplate display is provided. The gameboard includes a framework having a plurality of peripheral elements defining an opening into which a faceplate may be inserted. Each peripheral element may define a portion of a coplanar slot extending along the gameboard framework, wherein one of a plurality of faceplates may be slidably received or removed in the resulting coplanar slot. Thereby the gameboard provides a variety of interchangeable playing surfaces of cornhole.

A gameboard, a framework including:
- a top panel;
- a bottom panel;
- opposing longitudinal side panels connecting the top panel and the bottom panel;
- a plurality of receiving components mounted to interior surfaces of the framework, wherein each receiving component defines a dado cut;
- and a removable faceplate having:
- a body defining a hole;
- a plurality of connecting components extending from the body, wherein the connecting components are configured to slidably engage with the dado cuts of the receiving components.

A method of assembling a gameboard system comprising:
- providing a framework having a plurality of receiving components mounted to interior surfaces thereof, each receiving component of the plurality of receiving components defining a middle dado cut;
- providing a faceplate having a body and a plurality of connecting components extending from the body;
- positioning the framework over the faceplate;
- slidably engaging the connecting components with the middle dado cuts of the receiving components.
