• a video acquisition module configured to receive a digital video recording of a martial arts performance;
• a preprocessing module configured to process the digital video recording to generate processed video frames;
• a motion tracking module configured to analyze the processed video frames to generate tracking data representing the movement of a martial artist;
• a feature extraction module configured to extract kinematic and visual features from the tracking data;
• an action-specific performance analysis module configured to evaluate the martial arts performance based on the extracted features and predefined key metrics associated with specific martial arts actions, wherein the key metrics include at least one of point of maximum acceleration, frame before contact, moment of maximum velocity at impact, peak force, full extension for strikes;
• lowest point of center of gravity, moment of achieving correct alignment, point of maximum stability for stances;
• moment of contact with incoming attack, optimal blocking position, moment of redirecting force for blocks or parries;
• initiation of movement, midpoint of transition, completion of transition for transitions;
• and first sign of instability, moment of regaining balance for balance loss or recovery;
• and
• a visualization and reporting module configured to generate a performance report based on the evaluation.
