Abstract
An active fixation cardiac electrode lead including a fixation helix movably or non-movably placed in a housing of the electrode lead at a distal end of said electrode lead, wherein the first portion of the electrode lead and/or the second portion of the electrode lead are adapted to indicate a rotational position of the electrode lead on an x-ray image during implantation of the electrode lead.
Claims15
Active fixation cardiac electrode lead comprising:
- a fixation helix movably or non-movably placed in a housing of the electrode lead at a distal end of said electrode lead a first portion of the electrode lead having a first asymmetrical shape;
- and
- a second portion of the electrode lead having a second asymmetrical shape and a second radiopacity, said second radiopacity differing from said first radiopacity, wherein the first portion of the electrode lead and/or the second portion of the electrode lead are adapted to indicate a rotational position of the electrode lead on an x-ray image during implantation of the electrode lead.
