Inducing and monitoring muscle growth and activity in a wearable neuroprosthesis

A method of applying a stimulation therapy, comprising:

• positioning an electrical stimulator device such that a first set of electrodes are positioned across a first target muscle group of a user and a second set of electrodes are positioned across a second target muscle of the user;
• and a reference electrode is position on a location of a body of the user;
• selecting one or more stimulation parameters for a stimulation cycle;
• initiating a stimulation cycle for the first target muscle group by providing a biphasic pulse followed by an EMG measurement collection and repeating application of the biphasic pulse followed by the EMG measurement collection for a predetermined time period;
• and
• aggregating data from the EMG measurement collection to demonstrate a response to the biphasic pulse of the stimulation cycle by the first target muscle group.
