Abstract
A flow regulation clamp assembly for adjusting the fluid flow rate in a connector tube of an infusion set is provided. The flow regulation clamp assembly includes a housing to receive the connector tube, a slider slideably engaged within the housing and configured to compress the connector tube to provide a fluid flow adjustment, and a rotator knob moveable engaged with the housing and configured to move the slider. Infusion sets and methods of adjusting fluid flow rates are also provided.
Claims20
A flow regulation clamp assembly comprising:
- a housing comprising a T-shaped channel disposed through an entire length of the housing with a top wide portion of the T-shaped channel disposed adjacent a top of the housing;
- a T-shaped slider configured to slidingly move up and down within the T-shaped channel perpendicularly to the length of the housing;
- and
- a rotation knob coupled to the top of the housing, the rotation knob comprising an engagement member disposed through a bore of the housing and received by a bore of the T-shaped slider,
- wherein rotation of the rotation knob moves the entire T-shaped slider upward or downward within the T-shaped channel based on a rotation direction of the rotation knob.
