Devices, systems, and methods for mitigating the risk of infusion-induced hypothermia are disclosed. In an example, a warming pouch includes a sleeve to hold a container of fluid for infusion into a patient. The warming pouch comprises a warming pocket housing a reactant. An activation solution is housed in a separate activation pocket, which is fluidically coupled to the warming pocket. A frangible seal may be positioned between the warming pocket and the activation pocket. Breakage of the frangible seal allows for intermixing of the reactant and the activation solution, thereby starting the exothermic reaction. The warming pouch is configured to surround the container of fluid throughout the exothermic reaction, evenly distributing heat throughout the fluid prior to and during infusion of the fluid to the patient.
