Abstract
An aspect of the present invention is related to nucleic acid constructs capable of expressing a combination of African swine fever virus (ASFV) antigens that elicit an immune response in a mammal against ASFV, and methods of use thereof.
Claims11
A nucleic acid molecule comprising a nucleotide sequence encoding at least one synthetic African swine fever virus (ASFV) antigen, wherein the nucleic acid molecule comprises at least one nucleotide sequence selected from the group consisting of
- a) a nucleotide sequence having at least about 90% identity over an entire length of a nucleotide sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO:1, SEQ ID NO:
- 3, SEQ ID NO:7 and SEQ ID NO:9,
- b) an immunogenic fragment of a nucleotide sequence having at least about 90% identity over at least 60% of the nucleotide sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO:1, SEQ ID NO:3, SEQ ID NO:7 and SEQ ID NO:9,
- c) a nucleotide sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO:1, SEQ ID NO:3, SEQ ID NO:7 and SEQ ID NO:9, and
- d) an immunogenic fragment of a nucleotide sequence selected from the group consisting of SEQ ID NO:1, SEQ ID NO:3, SEQ ID NO:7 and SEQ ID NO:9.
