Abstract
The present disclosure provides a composition for removing senescent cells that is useful in senescent cell removal. The composition of the present invention induces apoptosis of senescent cells, and thus can be effectively applied to the alleviation, treatment, or prevention of various aging-associated diseases and disorders caused by senescent cells. In addition, the composition of the present invention can be effectively applied as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, health functional foods, animal products, and the like in relation to aging-associated diseases and disorders caused by senescent cells.

A method of removing senescent cells, comprising:
- contacting with senescent cells or administering or applying to a subject in need of improvement, treatment or prevention of diseases and disorders related to senescent cells a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of Table 1 or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt;
- secreted fluid from cells killed by treatment with such a compound or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt;
- or cells killed by treatment with such a compound or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt.
