Abstract
This invention relates to 5-methoxy-N,N-dimethyltryptamine (5-MeO-DMT) pharmaceutical compositions, more particularly intranasal pharmaceutical compositions of pharmaceutically acceptable salts of 5-MeO-DMT, and methods of administration and treatment using the same.

A kit, comprising:
- a first pharmaceutical composition comprising (i) 5-methoxy-N,N-dimethyltryptamine (5-MeO-DMT) free base, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, prodrug, hydrate, ester, co-crystal or deuterated form thereof;
- and (ii) one or more pharmaceutically acceptable carriers or excipients;
- a second pharmaceutical composition comprising (i) 5-methoxy-N,N-dimethyltryptamine (5-MeO-DMT) free base, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, prodrug, hydrate, ester, co-crystal or deuterated form thereof;
- and (ii) one or more pharmaceutically acceptable carriers or excipients;
- and
- instructions for use of the kit;
- wherein, the second pharmaceutical composition comprises a higher dose of 5-MeO-DMT free base, or an equivalent dose of the pharmaceutically acceptable salt, prodrug, hydrate, ester, co-crystal or deuterated form thereof, than the first pharmaceutical composition.

A method for treating one or more conditions or disorders in a patient in need thereof, comprising administering a first dose of 5-MeO-DMT free base, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, prodrug, hydrate, ester, co-crystal or deuterated form thereof, or a pharmaceutical composition thereof, followed by administering a second dose of 5-MeO-DMT free base, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, prodrug, hydrate, ester, co-crystal or deuterated form thereof, or a pharmaceutical composition thereof,
- wherein the second dose is higher than the first dose.
