Method and pharmaceutical composition for treating a sleep disorder

A treatment method, comprising the following steps:

• orally administering to a patient in need thereof a modified pharmaceutical composition, wherein API of the modified pharmaceutical composition is selected from the group consisting of a melatonin receptor agonist, a GABA receptor agonist, an orexin receptor antagonist, and pharmaceutically acceptable salts, isomers, and active metabolites thereof;
• wherein the melatonin receptor agonist is selected from the group consisting of melatonin, agomelatine, and ramelteon;
• wherein the GABA receptor agonist is selected from the group consisting of zolpidem, zopiclone, zaleplon, triazolam, alprazolam, diazepam, estazolam, clonazepam, and didasinine;
• wherein the orexin receptor antagonist is selected from the group consisting of suvorexant, daridorexant, and lemborexant;
• the treatment method refers to any one of (A1) to (A4):
• (A1) a method for treating insomnia;
• (A2) a method for alleviating insomnia;
• (A3) a method for treating early-morning awakening;
• (A4) a sleep regulation method for reducing hangover effects.
