Abstract
A method for reducing melanin production in hyperpigmented skin of a person is disclosed. The method can include topically applying to hyperpigmented skin a composition that includes a Ptychopetalum olacoides extract, a Pfaffia paniculata extract, and a Trichilia catigua extract. Topical application of the composition can reduce melanin production in the hyperpigmented skin.

A method for reducing melanin production in hyperpigmented skin of a person, the method comprising topically applying to hyperpigmented skin a composition comprising:
- a Ptychopetalum olacoides extract;
- a Pfaffia paniculata extract;
- and
- a Trichilia catigua extract,
- wherein topical application of the composition reduces melanin production in the hyperpigmented skin.
