Abstract
The invention relates to a method for using a composition in conjunction with a light-based device for performing aesthetic treatments such as acne treatment, wrinkle removal, hair removal and other applications based on light treatment. The composition comprises a color changing compound that reacts due to the output of the light-based device.

A method for treating skin, the method comprising:
- Applying a composition to a treatment area and
- treating the treatment area with a light based treatment device;
- wherein the composition comprises a color changing compound.
A method for removing hair, the method comprising:
- Applying a composition comprising a color changing compound to a treatment area and treating the treatment area with a light based treatment device.
A kit comprising a light based treatment device and a composition comprising a color changing compound.
