Absorbent article

An absorbent article having a front-rear direction and a width direction, comprising a top sheet, a back sheet and an absorbent body disposed between the top sheet and the back sheet:

• the top sheet comprising thick parts and thin parts that extend in parallel in the front-rear direction and are arranged alternately in the width direction;
• the thin parts that are recessed relative to the thick parts on a skin-facing surface of the top sheet, and the thin parts are recessed relative to the thick parts on a non-skin-facing surface of the top sheet;
• the thick parts and the thin parts extending from a portion that overlaps with the absorbent body and extending forward beyond a front edge of the absorbent body and extending rearward beyond a rear edge of the absorbent body;
• and
• the non-skin-facing surface of the top sheet comprising a first adhesive region in that adhesive is arranged to extend in a spiral pattern or a meandering pattern in the front-rear direction, and a second adhesive region over that adhesive is entirely arranged, wherein the first adhesive region is arranged at least to overlap with the absorbent body, and the second adhesive region is positioned anterior and posterior to the first adhesive region, and is arranged at least forward of the front edge of the absorbent body and at least rearward of the rear edge of the absorbent body.
