Abstract
A dental device includes a dental bracket, and the dental bracket is securable to a respective tooth. The dental device includes a support member attached to the dental bracket via an extension, and the extension supports the respective dental bracket in a predetermined position. The dental device may further include a guide connected to the extension at a position between the dental bracket and the support member, and the guide may direct cutting of the dental bracket from the respective extension.
Claims42
A dental device, comprising:
- a dental bracket, having a front side and a back side, configured to be secured to a respective tooth;
- and
- a support member, connected to the dental bracket via an extension, wherein the extension supports the respective dental bracket in a predetermined position.
A dental device, comprising:
- a plurality of dental brackets, each configured to be secured to a respective tooth;
- and
- a support member, connected to the plurality of dental brackets via a plurality of extensions, wherein the support member comprises a plurality of segments arranged along an arch shape, and each of the segments supports at least one of the plurality of dental brackets in a predetermined position via at least one of the plurality of extensions.
A dental device, comprising:
- a support member, comprising a plurality of receiving members;
- and
- a plurality of dental brackets, each configured to be secured to a respective tooth, and each of the dental brackets comprising an insertion portion, wherein the insertion portion of each of the dental brackets is engaged with a respective receiving member among the plurality of receiving members, such that each of the dental brackets is supported in a predetermined position through the engagement of the respective receiving member with the insertion portion.
A dental bracket, comprising:
- a back side;
- and
- a front side configured to be secured to a respective tooth, the front side comprising a recess and a weakened portion disposed in the recess, wherein the weakened portion connects the dental bracket with an extension and is configured to be broken so as to separate the extension from the dental bracket.
