Abstract
A system for providing laser energy, comprising a housing, a collimator lens disposed within the housing and configured to collimate an energy-containing beam from a source, a two-axis scanner disposed adjacent to the collimator lens and configured to controllably direct a collimated beam in 2 axes and a focal lens disposed adjacent to the two-axis scanner and configured to receive the collimated beam from the two-axis scanner and to focus the two-axis beam on a target, such as the skin of a patient.

A system for providing laser energy, comprising:
- a housing;
- a collimator lens disposed within the housing and configured to collimate an energy-containing beam from a source;
- a two-axis single mirror scanner disposed adjacent to the collimator lens and configured to controllably direct a collimated beam in two axes;
- and
- a focal lens disposed adjacent to the two-axis single mirror scanner and configured to receive the collimated beam from the two-axis single mirror scanner and to focus the two-axis beam on a target (skin).
