Abstract
The present disclosure relates to the field of tissue dissection. Specifically, the present disclosure relates to medical devices which lift target tissue during a dissection procedure to improve visualization of the target tissue and mitigate obstruction of dissection tools. In particular, the present disclosure relates to a tissue traction device which comprises a first tissue engagement portion configured to be coupled to a target tissue at an in-vivo target site, a second tissue engagement portion configured to be coupled to an anatomical wall opposing the target tissue, and a connecting structure located between and coupled to or integral with the first tissue engagement portion and the second tissue engagement portion.

A tissue traction device comprising:
- a first tissue engagement portion configured to be coupled to a target tissue at an in-vivo target site;
- a second tissue engagement portion configured to be coupled to an anatomical wall opposing the target tissue;
- and
- a connecting structure located between and coupled to or integral with the first tissue engagement portion and the second tissue engagement portion.
A tissue traction device comprising:
- a first tissue engagement portion configured to be coupled to a target tissue at an in-vivo target site;
- a first coupling mechanism coupled to or integral with the first tissue engagement portion;
- a second tissue engagement portion configured to be coupled to an anatomical wall opposing the target tissue;
- a second coupling mechanism coupled to or integral with the second tissue engagement portion;
- and
- an individual connecting structure that is integral with and located between the first and second tissue engagement portions.
A tissue traction device comprising:
- a first tissue engagement portion configured to be coupled to a target tissue at an in-vivo target site;
- a first coupling mechanism coupled to or integral with the first tissue engagement portion;
- a second tissue engagement portion configured to be coupled to an anatomical wall opposing the target tissue;
- a second coupling mechanism coupled to or integral with the second tissue engagement portion;
- and
- a plurality of connecting structures coupled to and located between the first tissue engagement portion and the second tissue engagement portion, wherein each connecting structure of the plurality of connecting structures is a substantially radially extending filament or strip of material that is configured to impart a variable lifting force on the target tissue in response to insufflation of the target site.
