Abstract
The present disclosure relates to devices for monitoring and optimizing a temporal trigger stability of an extracorporeal circulatory support as well as control units for extracorporeal circulatory support, comprising such a device and corresponding methods. Accordingly, a method for monitoring and optimizing a temporal trigger stability of an extracorporeal circulatory support is suggested, comprising: receiving an ECG signal of a supported patient over a predefined time period; determining P-waves, R-waves, and T-waves from the received ECG signal; and determining a predefined trigger signal from the ECG signal of a current cardiac cycle, taking into account at least one detected P-wave and/or at least one detected T-wave.

A method of monitoring and improving a temporal trigger stability of an extracorporeal circulatory support, the method comprising:
- receiving an ECG signal of a supported patient over a predefined period of time;
- determining P-waves, R-waves, and T-waves from the received ECG signal;
- and
- determining a predefined trigger signal from the ECG signal of a current cardiac cycle, taking into account at least one of:
- (i) at least one P-wave determined from the received ECG signal and (ii) at least one T-wave determined from the received ECG signal.
A device for monitoring and improving a temporal trigger stability of an extracorporeal circulatory support, the device comprising:
- an interface for receiving an ECG signal of a supported patient over a predefined period of time, and
- an evaluation unit which is configured to determine P-waves, R-waves and T-waves from the received ECG signal, and to determine a predefined trigger signal from the ECG signal of a current cardiac cycle, taking into account at least one determined P wave and/or at least one determined T wave.
