An imaging system includes a light source configured to output white light, a first wavelength light primarily absorbed by deoxyhemoglobin, and a second wavelength light primarily absorbed by oxyhemoglobin to illuminate tissue. The system further includes one or more cameras coupled to the scope. One or more cameras are configured to capture a plurality of frames of a tissue illuminated by the white light, the first wavelength light, and the second wavelength light. The system also includes an image processing unit configured to activate the light source to output the first wavelength light; receive a first single wavelength image; activate the light source to output the second wavelength light; receive a second single wavelength image; and generate a hyperspectral image based on the first single wavelength image and the second single wavelength image.
