Abstract
A heat-pump dishwasher (1) comprises an evaporator (167), a fan (166), and a sump (19). The fan (166) is provided between the evaporator (167) and the sump (19). The fan (166) has an air inlet facing the sump (19) and an air outlet facing the evaporator (167). This configuration allows hot air surrounding the sump (19) to be blown towards the evaporator (167), enhancing the heat exchange efficiency of the evaporator (167). Meanwhile, by connecting the condensate pipe (168) to a drainage passage (145), condensate water can be discharged, and exposure of the condensate pipe (168) to air is avoided, thus preventing bacterial growth.
