Abstract
An airflow assembly is embedded in a housing of the hand dryer. The airflow assembly includes a motor housing, a stator, a rotor, a fan blade cover and a fan blade. The motor housing is formed with a shell, a motor mounting part and an air guide part. The shell, the motor mounting part and the air guide part form an accommodation space. The air guide part is in the gap between the motor mounting part and the shell. The stator and the rotor are provided in the accommodation space. The stator is fixed to the motor mounting part, and the rotor is connected to a drive shaft. The fan blade cover is assembled to the motor housing and is formed with an opening communicating with the gap via a space formed by the fan blade cover. The fan blade is provided in the space.
Claims13
An airflow assembly for a hand dryer, wherein the airflow assembly is embedded in a housing of the hand dryer, the airflow assembly comprising:
- a motor housing, formed with a shell, a motor mounting part and an air guide part, the shell being hollow and providing the motor mounting part and the air guide part to be arranged therein, the shell defining an air inlet side and an air outlet side, wherein the shell, the motor mounting part and the air guide part jointly form an accommodation space located at the air outlet side, and wherein a gap is provided between the motor mounting part and the shell, and the gap is located at the air inlet side and communicates with the accommodation space, and the air guide part is provided at the gap;
- a stator and a rotor, placed into the accommodation space from the air outlet side of the motor housing, wherein the stator is connected to the rotor and is fixed to the motor mounting part, and wherein the rotor is connected to a drive shaft passing through the motor mounting part;
- a fan blade cover, assembled with the motor housing and located at the air inlet side, wherein the fan blade cover is formed with an opening communicating with the gap via a space formed by the fan blade cover;
- and
- a fan blade, provided in the space formed by the fan blade cover and driven by the drive shaft.
