Abstract
A control system for a patient support apparatus includes a graphical user interface configured to accept a user input to control functions of a microclimate management (MCM) system for the patient support apparatus and a controller configured to control a pneumatic system of the MCM system to control a transfer of a fluid at a flow rate and to communicate with the graphical user interface. The controller controls the graphical user interface to display an MCM menu screen configured to accept a user input to activate and deactivate the MCM system.
Claims20
A control system for a patient support apparatus comprising:
- a graphical user interface configured to accept a user input to control functions of a microclimate management (MCM) system for the patient support apparatus;
- and
- a controller configured to control a pneumatic system of the MCM system to control a transfer of a fluid at a flow rate and to communicate with the graphical user interface, wherein the controller controls the graphical user interface to display:
- an MCM menu screen configured to accept a user input to activate and deactivate the MCM system.
A control system for a patient support apparatus comprising:
- a graphical user interface configured to accept a user input to control functions of a microclimate management (MCM) system for the patient support apparatus;
- and
- a controller configured to control the MCM system to control a transfer of a fluid at a flow rate and to communicate with the graphical user interface, wherein the controller controls the graphical user interface to selectively display:
- a home screen comprising a plurality of icons including an MCM system icon;
- and
- an MCM menu screen that is displayed upon selection of the MCM system icon, wherein the MCM menu screen is configured to accept a user input to activate and deactivate the MCM system.
A control system for a patient support apparatus comprising:
- a graphical user interface configured to accept a user input to control functions of a microclimate management (MCM) system for the patient support apparatus;
- and
- a controller configured to control an actuator of the MCM system to control a transfer of a fluid at a predetermined flow rate and a predetermined temperature and to communicate with the graphical user interface, wherein the controller controls the graphical user interface to selectively display:
- an MCM menu screen that is displayed upon selection of an MCM system icon, wherein the MCM menu screen is configured to accept a user input to activate and deactivate the MCM system.
