A sports equipment bag adapted to encompass or support a plurality of articles, said sports equipment bag comprising:
- a. a first flexible surrounding sidewall that is about a longitudinal axis, said first flexible surrounding sidewall having a first primary end portion and an opposing first secondary end portion with said longitudinal axis spanning therebetween, said first flexible surrounding sidewall having a first distance as between said first primary end portion and said first secondary end portion, said first flexible surrounding sidewall further including a first flexible surrounding sidewall inner surface and an opposing first flexible surrounding sidewall outer surface;
- b. a first end portion that is affixed to said first primary end portion, said first end portion having a first end portion outer surface and an opposing first end portion inner surface;
- c. a second end portion that is affixed to said first secondary end portion, said second end portion having a second end portion outer surface and an opposing second end portion inner surface, wherein said first flexible surrounding sidewall inner surface, said first end portion inner surface, and said second end portion inner surface all define a first interior volume;
- d. an openable and closable first flexible element that is disposed in one of said first flexible surrounding sidewall, said first end portion, or said second end portion to operationally provide a closable first aperture as between said first interior volume and an external environment;
- and
- e. an encompassing semi rigid side panel including a first side margin and an opposing second side margin and a substantially perpendicularly positioned first lower margin and an opposing second upper margin, further said encompassing side panel includes a first outer substantially planar surface and an opposing second inner substantially planar surface, said first side margin has a partial flexible attachment to said outer surface of said first flexible surrounding sidewall spanning in-between said first primary end portion and said first secondary end portion, said encompassing semi rigid side panel said second inner substantially planar surface and said outer surface of said first flexible surrounding sidewall define a side panel interior that is sized and configured to be a shallow depth volume in relation to a larger shallow surface area for easier article access, said side panel interior is exposed to an external environment in a side panel open state, said encompassing semi rigid side panel further includes a side panel magnetic latch that is a removably engageable closure that is disposed on a portion of said second side margin and is removably received to a portion of said first flexible surrounding sidewall outer surface to operationally facilitate said semi rigid side panel to be functional as a side door being hinged at said partial flexible attachment and being secured via said side panel magnetic latch to close said side panel interior from the external environment in a side panel closed state, being for a fast and easy access to said side panel interior for storage of the plurality of articles, further a perimeter side panel zipper is disposed as between said first and second side margins and said first lower margin and said second upper margin and a portion of said first flexible surrounding sidewall outer surface for secure transport of said side panel in said side panel closed state..
