Abstract
A garment includes a zipper and a zipper slider canopy. The zipper includes a first tape on a first side of an opening, a second tape on a second side of the opening, a zipper chain connected to the first tape and the second tape for selectively joining the first tape to the second tape, and a slider main body. The slider main body is movable along the chain between a fully zipped position residing below the canopy and an at least partially unzipped position outside the canopy.

A garment comprising:
- a zipper selectively closing an opening, the zipper comprising:
- a first tape on a first side of the opening;
- a second tape on a second side of the opening;
- a zipper chain connected to the first tape and the second tape for selectively joining the first tape to the second tape, and
- a slider main body, wherein the slider main body is movable along the chain between a fully zipped position and a fully unzipped position;
- a zipper slider canopy, wherein the slider main body resides at least partially beneath the zipper slider canopy in the fully zipped position and completely outside the slider canopy in an at least partially unzipped position;
- and
- an exterior pocket, the exterior pocket comprising a pleated panel having a pleat, the pleat forming the zipper slider canopy.
