Abstract
A slide fastener includes a pair of first and second tapes, a first element row, and a second element row. When the first and second element rows are engaged with each other, one widthwise end of the first fastener tape and one widthwise end of the second fastener tape each buckle into peaked forms and come into close contact with each other.

A slide fastener comprising:
- a pair of first and second fastener tapes each having an elongated shape and having a first main surface and a second main surface opposite to the first main surface;
- a first element row provided on the first main surface of one width-directional end of the first fastener tape;
- and
- a second element row provided on the first main surface of one width-directional end of the second fastener tape, wherein
- when the first and second element rows mesh with each other, the one width-directional end of the first fastener tape and the one width-directional end of the second fastener tape are buckled in an arch shape and brought into close contact with each other.
