Abstract

A clasp system for jewelry includes a first clasp member comprising a main body and a clasp channel formed within the main body, the clasp channel including a clasp channel opening on a front wall of the first clasp member; a second clasp member including a clasp pin configured to insert within the clasp channel through the clasp channel opening in the first clasp member when the first clasp member and the second clasp member are adjoined, a side locking hole in the clasp pin of the second clasp member; and a locking pin in the first clasp member, the locking pin being in cross axial alignment to the clasp channel and configured for linear movement into and out of the clasp channel, whereby the locking pin is configured to move into and out of the side locking hole in the clasp pin when the clasp pin is inserted into clasp channel, and whereby insertion of the locking pin into the side locking hole secures the first clasp member and the second clasp member together.
