Abstract
A protective helmet assembly comprising an outer shell, an annular conversion band; and a cradle suspension sub-assembly is provided. The annular conversion band has multiple locking members for removably fastening the conversion band to the interior of the helmet assembly. The conversion band further includes a groove for receiving an inner liner material. The annular conversion band of the present invention can be installed on different helmets, particularly firefighter helmets. The conversion band is easy to install and securely fastened to the helmet while providing a comfortable fit.
Claims10
A protective helmet assembly, comprising:
- a) an outer shell having an interior cavity;
