Method and Apparatus for Handling Collision

A method performed by a network device, the method comprising:

• determining one or more first available slots that are available for a number of repetitions configured for a first uplink transmission;
• determining one or more second available slots that are available for a second uplink transmission;
• determining that the one or more first available slots and the one or more second available slots overlap in time by at least one time-overlapping slot;
• after determining the one or more first available slots, determining, based on one or more rules, whether or not to drop at least one repetition of the first uplink transmission in the at least one time-overlapping slot;
• and
• receiving the first uplink transmission and/or the second uplink transmission from the terminal device.

A terminal device comprising:

• a processor;
• and
• a memory coupled to the processor, said memory containing instructions executable by said processor, whereby said terminal device is operative to:
• determine one or more first available slots that are available for a number of repetitions configured for a first uplink transmission;
• determine one or more second available slots that are available for a second uplink transmission;
• determine that the one or more first available slots and the one or more second available slots overlap in time by at least one time-overlapping slot;
• after determining the one or more first available slots, determine, based on one or more rules, whether or not to drop at least one repetition of the first uplink transmission in the at least one time-overlapping slot;
• and
• transmit the first uplink transmission and/or the second uplink transmission to a network device.

A network device comprising:

• a processor;
• and
• a memory coupled to the processor, said memory containing instructions executable by said processor, whereby said network device is operative to:
• determine one or more first available slots that are available for a number of repetitions configured for a first uplink transmission;
• determine one or more second available slots that are available for a second uplink transmission;
• determine that the one or more first available slots and the one or more second available slots overlap in time by at least one time-overlapping slot;
• after determining the one or more first available slots, determine, based on one or more rules, whether or not to drop at least one repetition of the first uplink transmission in the at least one time-overlapping slot;
• and
• receive the first uplink transmission and/or the second uplink transmission from the terminal device.
