Information transmission method, apparatus, device, and medium

A method for information transmission, applied to a second communication device, the method comprising:

• receiving a sensing protocol protocol data unit (PDU) transmitted by a first communication device, wherein the sensing protocol PDU comprises sensing protocol layer information;
• wherein the sensing protocol PDU is transmitted through one of the following transmission manners:
• an RRC message;
• a Service Data Adaptation Protocol (SDAP) service data unit (SDU);
• a Packet Data Convergence Protocol (PDCP) service data unit (SDU).

A communication device, the communication device being a first communication device, comprising:

• a memory, a transceiver, and a processor;
• the memory being configured to store program instructions;
• the transceiver being configured to transmit and receive data under control of the processor;
• and the processor being configured to read the program instructions from the memory and perform the following operations:
• generate a sensing protocol protocol data unit (PDU), wherein the sensing protocol PDU comprises sensing protocol layer information;
• and
• transmit the sensing protocol PDU to a second communication device,
• wherein the sensing protocol PDU is transmitted through one of the following transmission manners:
• an RRC message;
• a service data adaptation protocol (SDAP) service data unit (SDU);
• a packet data convergence protocol (PDCP) service data unit (SDU).
