Radio access network (ran) intelligent controller application (rapp)-coordinated time division duplexing (tdd) configuration in open radio access network (o-ran)

A system for mitigating remote interference in a mobile network, comprising:

• a first Service Management and Orchestration (SMO) device comprising a memory operably coupled to a processor, wherein the memory is configured to store information identifying a second SMO device;
• and
• wherein the processor is configured to:
• receive, from the second SMO device, a first message indicating that a first base station is experiencing interference from a second base station, wherein the first message comprises an aggressor set identifier (ID) identifying the second base station;
• identify the second base station based at least in part upon the aggressor set ID;
• receive, from the second SMO device, at least one recommended interference mitigation procedure to address the interference experienced by the first base station;
• perform a first interference mitigation procedure from among the at least one recommended interference mitigation procedure;
• and
• communicate, to the second SMO device, a second message indicating that the first interference mitigation procedure has commenced.

A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions that, when executed by one or more processors of a computing device, cause the one or more processors to perform operations comprising:

• identifying an aggressor base station based at least on an aggressor set identifier (ID) associated with the aggressor base station;
• receiving, from a second computing device, a set of recommended interference mitigation procedures;
• selecting a first interference mitigation procedure from among the set of recommended interference mitigation procedures;
• performing the first interference mitigation procedure;
• and
• communicating, to the second computing device, a message indicating that the first interference mitigation procedure has commenced.
