Electroacoustic drivers that can be utilized in loudspeaker systems that utilize drivers having a magnetic negative spring (MNS). The magnets of the MNS can be arranged such that a rotatable magnetic core is rotatable in the plane that is perpendicular to the axis of movement of the armature of the MNS, such that magnitude of the first magnetic negative spring force and magnitude of the second magnetic negative spring force of the MNS are varied based upon the position of rotation of the rotatable magnetic core. The loudspeaker can include an enclosure, a sound panel mechanically connected to the enclosure, and a magnetic negative spring having a first permanent magnet connected to an armature and a second permanent magnet that can rotate with respect to the first permanent magnet in response to a feedback signal.
