Abstract
One or more hardware components associated with a participant device are detected by the participant device at a location within a physical environment. The one or more hardware components include at least one of a camera, a speaker, or a microphone. A selection of the one or more hardware components for participating in a video conference is determined based on a specification associated with at least one hardware component of the one or more hardware components and based on the location. The selection of the one or more hardware components is configured for participating in the video conference at the location.
Claims20
A method comprising:
- detecting, by a participant device at a location within a physical environment, one or more hardware components associated with the participant device, wherein the one or more hardware components comprise at least one of a camera, a speaker, or a microphone;
- determining, based on a specification associated with at least one hardware component of the one or more hardware components and based on the location, a selection of the one or more hardware components for participating in a video conference;
- and
- configuring the selection of the one or more hardware components for participating in the video conference at the location.
A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing instructions operable to cause one or more processors to perform operations comprising:
- detecting, by a participant device at a location within a physical environment, one or more hardware components associated with the participant device, wherein the one or more hardware components comprise at least one of a camera, a speaker, or a microphone;
- determining, based on a specification associated with at least one hardware component of the one or more hardware components and based on the location, a selection of the one or more hardware components for participating in a video conference;
- and
- configuring the selection of the one or more hardware components for participating in the video conference at the location.
A system comprising:
- one or more hardware components comprising at least one of a camera, a speaker, or a microphone;
- and
- a participant device configured to:
- detect, at a location within a physical environment, the one or more hardware components;
- determine, based on a specification associated with at least one hardware component of the one or more hardware components and based on the location, a selection of the one or more hardware components for participating in a video conference;
- and
- configure the selection of the one or more hardware components for participating in the video conference at the location.
