Network fabric integration

A computer readable medium storing specific computer-executable instructions that, when executed by a processor, cause a computer system for:

• generating, by a control plane of a cloud environment, an application programming interface (API), the API configured to instantiate a plurality of network resources for a customer of the cloud environment;
• creating, by the API, a first data object including first information identifying location of a rack within a network fabric, wherein the rack houses at least some of the plurality of network resources for the customer;
• creating, by the API, a second data object including second information corresponding to a cluster of network resources associated with the customer, the cluster including the plurality of network resources that are utilized to execute a workload for the customer;
• and
• instantiating by the API, in response to receiving a request from the customer, the plurality of network resources across the network fabric utilizing the first data object and the second data object.

A computing device comprising:

• a processor;
• and
• a memory including instructions that, when executed with the processor, cause the computing device to, at least:
• generate, by a control plane of a cloud environment, an application programming interface (API), the API configured to instantiate a plurality of network resources for a customer of the cloud environment;
• create, by the API, a first data object including first information identifying location of a rack within a network fabric, wherein the rack houses at least some of the plurality of network resources for the customer;
• create, by the API, a second data object including second information corresponding to a cluster of network resources associated with the customer, the cluster including the plurality of network resources that are utilized to execute a workload for the customer;
• and
• instantiate by the API, in response to receiving a request from the customer, the plurality of network resources across the network fabric utilizing the first data object and the second data object.
