Abstract

Methods, apparatus and computer-readable medium are disclosed for identifier configuration. In an embodiment, there is provided a method performed at an access point. The method comprises receiving, from a first wireless device, a first identifier of the first wireless device. The first identifier is determined by the first wireless device. The method further comprises determining whether the first identifier is same as one of one or more second identifiers of one or more second wireless devices associated with the access point. The method further comprises according to the determination, transmitting, to the first wireless device, identifier indication information indicating whether an identifier collision occurs.
