Various aspects of the present disclosure relate to reference signal transmission for multiple services. A user equipment (UE) may receive configuration signaling that allocates resources for one or more reference signals. The reference signals may be for a first service corresponding to communications at the UE (e.g., channel estimation and/or beamforming) and a second service for a location determination of the UE and/or one or more sensing targets (e.g., positioning and/or sensing). The UE receives the reference signals based on the resources. The UE performs one or more measurements based on the one or more reference signals. At least one resource corresponds to a measurement for the first service and a measurement for the second service. The UE transmits the one or more measurements to a network equipment (NE).
