Harq processing method, user equipment, and base station

A user equipment (UE) comprising:

• a transceiver configured for wireless communication;
• and
• a processor connected to the transceiver and configured to perform operations comprising:
• receiving information of a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback scheme for semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH);
• receiving, via a radio resource control (RRC) signal, information indicating that a hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) feedback timing adjustment function is executable by the UE for one or more SPS configurations on a per-SPS-configuration basis, wherein each of the one or more SPS configurations is associated with an SPS configuration identifier (ID);
• receiving an SPS PDSCH at a downlink (DL) slot or sub-slot location n associated with a network-provided feedback timing offset K1 indicated by a HARQ feedback timing indicator;
• adjusting, when a symbol within a slot or sub-slot location n+K1 allocated as a HARQ-ACK feedback timing for carrying a HARQ-ACK bit responding to the received SPS PDSCH is invalid, the HARQ-ACK feedback timing to an adjusted slot or sub-slot location n+K1_adj with respect to the received SPS PDSCH that is associated with an SPS configuration among the one or more SPS configurations, wherein the adjusted slot or sub-slot location n+K1_adj is determined based on the DL slot or sub-slot location n and an adjusted HARQ-ACK feedback timing K1_adj;
• determining whether to include the HARQ-ACK bit in a HARQ-ACK codebook or whether to transmit the HARQ-ACK codebook according to the HARQ feedback scheme;
• and
• transmitting, upon determining to transmit the HARQ-ACK codebook, the HARQ-ACK codebook in the adjusted slot or sub-slot location n+K1_adj.

A hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) processing method for execution by a base station, comprising:

• transmitting, to a user equipment (UE), information of a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) feedback scheme for semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH);
• transmitting, via a radio resource control (RRC) signal, information indicating a hybrid automatic repeat request acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) feedback timing adjustment function is executable by the UE for one or more SPS configurations on a per-SPS-configuration basis, wherein each of the one or more SPS configurations is associated with an SPS configuration identifier (ID);
• transmitting an SPS PDSCH at a downlink (DL) slot or sub-slot location n associated with a network-provided feedback timing offset K1 indicated by a HARQ feedback timing indicator;
• and
• receiving, according to the HARQ feedback scheme, in the adjusted slot or sub-slot location n+K1_adj, a HARQ-ACK codebook or HARQ-ACK information associated with at least the transmitted SPS PDSCH when a symbol within a slot or sub-slot location n+K1 allocated as a HARQ-ACK feedback timing for carrying the HARQ-ACK bit is invalid, wherein the transmitted SPS PDSCH is associated with an SPS configuration among the one or more SPS configurations.
