Touch switch

A touch switch comprising:

• an operation unit having a planar shape;
• a first sensor unit that allows detection of an approach of a human body to the operation unit by a change in capacitance;
• a second sensor unit that allows detection of approach of a human body to the operation unit by a change in capacitance and has a length in a direction in which the operation unit extends, the length being longer than a length in a direction in which the operation unit of the first sensor unit extends;
• and
• a determination unit that determines that the operation unit has been operated when a time difference between a first time point at which the capacitance of the first sensor unit has changed and a second time point at which the capacitance of the second sensor unit has changed is equal to or longer than a predetermined determination time.
