Stator and method for producing stator

A stator comprising:

• a stator core;
• and
• a stator winding provided on the stator core, wherein
• the stator winding is formed of a plurality of conducting wires, each of the conducting wires includes a conductor covered with an insulating film, and an exposed portion at a tip end of each of the conducting wires is formed such that the conductor is exposed,
• in a coil end portion of the stator winding, a resin sealing portion made of an insulating resin is provided in a region including each exposed portion,
• the resin sealing portion has a disk surface extending along an axial end surface of the stator core,
• the disk surface is an end surface of the resin sealing portion located on a side axially separated from the stator core,
• the resin sealing portion is configured as an annular member having an axial length extending from the disk surface,
• the resin sealing portion comprises:
• an inner circumferential side surface located radially inward;
• and
• an outer circumferential side surface located radially outward,
• each of the inner circumferential side surface and the outer circumferential side surface is inclined with respect to an axial direction in a manner such that the inner circumferential side surface and the outer circumferential side surface approach each other toward an axially outward direction from the stator core,
• a surface of radially innermost exposed portion, among exposed portions of the respective conducting wires arranged in a radial direction, facing the inner circumferential side surface, are inclined with respect to the axial direction in the same direction as the inner circumferential side surface of the resin sealing portion and
• a surface of radially outer most exposed portion, among exposed portions of the respective conducting wires arranged in a radial direction, facing the outer circumferential side surface, are inclined with respect to the axial direction in the same direction as the outer circumferential side surface of the resin sealing portion.
