Abstract
An external-rotor electric motor and a stator assembly that includes a base, a sleeve, a stator core, and an insulating support are described. One end of the sleeve is connected to the base. The stator core is sleeved on the outside of the sleeve. The insulating support is connected to an end portion of the stator core facing the base. The insulating support, the sleeve, and the stator core collectively define an accommodating cavity.

A stator assembly for an external-rotor electric motor, comprising:
- a base;
- a sleeve, one end of which is connected to the base;
- a stator core, sleeved over the sleeve;
- and
- an insulating support, connected to an end portion of the stator core facing the base,
- wherein the insulating support, the sleeve, and the stator core collectively define an accommodating cavity.
