Disclosed is a highly versatile power distribution device which can be easily modified in accordance with the number of battery packs to be mounted. A power distribution device 10 includes a relay 14, a current sensor 16, and a basic circuit 18 to which the relay 14 and the current sensor 16 are connected. The basic circuit 18 comprises: basic circuit units 20 having an input part 24 connected to the terminal part 22 of the battery pack 12, a first output part 26, and a second output part 28; a branch input part 30 connected to at least one of the first output part 26 and the second output part 28 of the basic circuit units 20; and a branch circuit unit 36 having a plurality of branch output parts 34 each connected to the branch input part 30 via a fuse 32. There are as many basic circuit units 20 as the number of battery packs 12 to be mounted. One first output part 26 of a plurality of the basic circuit units 20 arranged adjacently to each other is connected to the other second output part 28 of the plurality of basic circuit units 20, and the plurality of battery packs 12 are conductively connected.
