Abstract

An electrical connector assembly includes: a first electrical connector, the first electrical connector includes a first housing, a second housing which surrounds an outer side of one end of the first housing, and a plurality of first conductive terminals which are positioned in an interior of the first housing and the second housing, an outer side surface of one end of the second housing close to the first housing has a locking structure which is in form of protrusion; a second electrical connector, the second electrical connector includes a third housing and a plurality of second conductive terminals which are positioned in an interior of the third housing, an inner side surface of the third housing has an engaging structure which is in form of recessed groove; in a state that the first electrical connector and the second electrical connector are mated with each other, the second housing is partially inserted into the interior of the third housing, the locking structure resiliently snap-fit with the engaging structure, the plurality of first conductive terminals and the plurality of second conductive terminals are electrically connected correspondingly. An overall size of the electrical connector assembly is reduced, and diversity of application scenarios of the electrical connector assembly is increased.
