Abstract
An air battery is provided that not only suppresses liquid shortage but also maintains output characteristics. The air battery of the present disclosure includes a cathode, an anode, and an electrolyte provided between the cathode and the anode. The air battery further includes a cover facing an outer surface of the cathode in contact with air. Herein, a minimum value of an interval between the outer surface and the cover is 0.5 to 10 mm, and preferably 1 to 2 mm.

An air battery comprising:
- a cathode,
- an anode,
- an electrolyte provided between the cathode and the anode, and
- a cover facing an outer surface of the cathode in contact with air, wherein
- a minimum value of an interval between the outer surface and the cover is 0.5 to 10 mm.
