Abstract
A case for secondary battery includes a body including an opening at one end and an accommodating space configured to accommodate an electrode assembly. A cover is coupled to body to cover the opening and seal the accommodating space. The body includes tin in an amount of 0.1 wt % or more and 0.5 wt % or less with respect to a total weight of the body.

A case for secondary battery comprising:
- a body including an opening at one end and an accommodating space configured to accommodated an electrode assembly;
- and
- a cover coupled to body to cover the opening and seal the accommodating space,
- wherein the body includes tin in an amount of 0.1 wt % or more and 0.5 wt % or less with respect to a total weight of the body.

- an electrode assembly accommodated in the accommodating space, the electrode assembly including a first electrode, a separator, and a second electrode;
- a cover coupled to the body to cover opening and seal the accommodating space,
- wherein the body includes tin in an amount of 0.1 wt % or more and 0.5 wt % or less with respect to a total weight of the body.

A method of manufacturing a secondary battery, the method comprising:
- forming a flat plate-shaped body comprising it in an amount of 0.1 wt % or more and 0.5 wt % or less with respect to a total weight of the body;
- shaping the body to form an accommodating space;
- inserting an electrode assembly into the accommodating space through an opening of the body;
- and
- coupling a cover to the body to cover the opening.
