Abstract
Described are methods for preparing multimetallic particles on a support including combining two or more metallic precursors in a solvent with a support to form a suspension, the two or more metallic precursors including a first metallic precursor and a second metallic precursor, and the support including a modified carbon, and heating the suspension to provide supported multimetallic particles having multimetallic particles bound to the support. Also described are supported multimetallic particles having a multimetallic particle bound to a support, the multimetallic particle having a first metallic element and a second metallic element, and the support having a modified carbon.

A method for preparing multimetallic particles on a support comprising:
- combining two or more metallic precursors in a solvent with a support to form a suspension, wherein the two or more metallic precursors comprise a first metallic precursor and a second metallic precursor, and wherein the support comprises a modified carbon, and
- heating the suspension to provide supported multimetallic particles, wherein the supported multimetallic particles comprise multimetallic particles bound to the support.
A supported multimetallic particle comprising a multimetallic particle bound to a support, wherein the multimetallic particle comprise a first metallic element and a second metallic element, and wherein the support comprises a modified carbon.
