Analytical Apparatus, Analytical System, Display Method, and Program

An analytical system that displays identification results obtained by multiple rounds of identification performed for one or more types of biological samples, the analytical system comprising:

• a memory that stores the identification results;
• a processor that produces a matrix defined by a first axis and a second axis and representing the identification results in a table format;
• and
• a display that displays the matrix, wherein
• the processor is configured to:
• calculate an identification count based on the identification results, the identification count being the number of times a certain biological sample was identified as a certain biological name;
• arrange names of the one or more types of biological samples on the first axis as one or more first items;
• and
• determine an order to arrange the biological names thus identified on the second axis as a plurality of second items, based on phylogenetic classification, and
• a cell positioned corresponding to a certain first item and a certain second item displays an identification count which is the number of times a biological sample specified by the certain first item was identified as a biological name specified by the certain second item.

A method that is executed by a computer to display identification results of one or more types of biological samples, the method comprising:

• acquiring the identification results;
• and
• displaying a matrix defined by a first axis and a second axis and representing the identification results in a table format, wherein
• the matrix contains one or more first items arranged on the first axis, a plurality of second items arranged on the second axis, as well as cells each positioned corresponding to a certain first item and a certain second item,
• the one or more first items are names of the biological samples that underwent identification,
• the plurality of second items are biological names arranged based on phylogenetic classification, and
• the displaying includes displaying an identification count in each cell, the identification count being the number of times a biological sample specified by a corresponding first item was identified as a biological name specified by a corresponding second item.
